Based in Stoke-on-Trent, The Company are a rapidly growing solutions provider for the vehicle finance and insurance sector, with a high profile client base including Porsche, Autotrader, Daily Mail and Barclaycard.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to learn from their existing team, gain invaluable experience, and progress in the IT and web development sectors.
Description:
You will be working on their existing products developed in C#.Net and Flash. A number of larger scale future projects are to be developed in C#.Net.
The ideal candidate will display good communications skills, the ability to work in a team and a sociable and well presented manner. Flexibility and a willingness to learn is important, as informal training will be provided by their existing developers.
No commercial experience is necessary but a portfolio of development projects would be beneficial. They are looking for someone with talent and ideas who will be an asset to their team.
Required Skills
· Object oriented modelling and programming
· Relational database development
· JavaScript
· Web application development
Desirable Skills
· Understanding of Web technologies, including XHTML, CSS, Ajax and Web Services.
· RBDMS
· Testing methodologies
· SmallTalk, Ruby, or Eiffel experience
