Description: We are looking to recruit a Ruby developer. Initially to work on an existing project built using Rails, RSpec and PostgreSQL. The project is in its infancy and is likely to expand rapidly. We are equally happy to employ a junior as well as an experienced developer. If you do not possess a significant amount of commercial experience but can demonstrate an enthusiasm for producing quality work and adhering to good programming practices we would be happy to hear from you.
Required Skills: Ruby and Ruby On Rails. Object oriented modelling and programming. Understanding of the latest Web 2.0 technologies, including XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and Web Services. Relational database systems.
Desirable Skills: PostgreSQL. FreeBSD or Mac OS X. Test / behaviour-driven development (RSpec is currently used). Automated deployment experience
Salary Circa 25k depending on experience. Based Stoke-On-Trent.
