Due to our continuing successful growth we are seeking to appoint an Information Systems Technician. This role will entail supporting the Information Technology Department in the day to day support of a network of 100 PC`s and servers across the UK, a willingness to travel along with a valid driving license is therefore essential.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years solid experience in supporting Software and Hardware on Windows operating systems running Microsoft Applications, your skill set should include the following: Experienced and qualified MCP in Windows XP and Server 2003. Experienced in the use of Crystal reports Version 8.0 or above. Experience of using and supporting Pegasus Opera 2. Good knowledge Database structures. Experience of Software Specification and Testing. Good hardware and software fault diagnostic skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organisation. A hand`s on and proactive approach to installing hardware and software is essential. Knowledge of Exchange 2003, Visual Basic, Prospect CRM and Apple Mac computers would be a distinct advantage.
