My client is a thriving provider of independent services in all aspects of IT and is one of the country`s leading specialists. To fuel their drive forward they need a Network Engineer (Field/Office based) to implement the network and IT needs of clients throughout the North West based on pre-defined requirements. They are looking for someone who can provide IT/Network skills covering a whole range technical installations, etc.
If you are look for a new challenge & career boost - and have experience of working with a wide range of systems, networks and business environments then this is the job for you. You are required to have excellent all round computer skills coupled with a high level of customer facing skills. Good experience of system administration and building networks. Experience and understanding in some of the following is excellent - NIC, BIOS, DHCP, TCP, Routers, Microsoft Exchange Server, Firewalls, Disaster Recovery, hubs, switches, etc. You will have a MCSE qualifications with at least 2 years of experience behind you.
You must be able to communicate effectively with clients at all levels (M.D to data inputter), making I.T useable / easy. Customer care and relationship building experience. Resilient and able to deal with frustrated clients calmly and methodically. Prepared to go the extra mile to satisfy client needs. Comfortable when dealing with people, open and friendly.
