Microsoft System Architect
Role:
To work in the Professional Services team as a System Architect specialising in Microsoft solutions reporting to the Microsoft Practice Manager.
Technical Requirements:
Practical Experience of planning and implementing a migration from NT4 to Active Directory.
Practical Experience of planning and implementing a migration from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
Windows 2000 MCSE, and preferably Windows 2003 MCSE.
Excellent understanding of Windows 2000/2003 design and implementation to MCSE level.
Working Understanding of Server based computing, Citrix to the level required by a CITRIX CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator) would be beneficial.
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP design and implementation and associated tools (DNS,WINS,DHCP), Internet technologies and Firewalls including ISA server.
An understanding of Hardware Infrastructure with a formal HP or IBM accreditation would be beneficial.
General Skills
Good communication skills
Experience of working within a reseller type environment.
Good report writing and documentation skills.
