My client is a small leading-edge software house with a track record of successful software development and sales in Europe.
They are looking for a well-motivated software-tester, with no less than 2 years experience working in a software testing environment, to join our Quality Assurance department. The ideal candidates will have a good working knowledge of structured testing methodologies, preferably gained in a commercial software development environment.
Experience in the use of automated testing tools is required and exposure to VISUAL Basic or any other programming language would be advantageous. A recognized qualification in software testing, e.g. the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing would also be a major advantage.
Applicants must be very familiar with software running under MS Windows and good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and on their own initiative are also essential. The successful candidates will be expected to play a vital role in ensuring all software reaches the highest quality standards before being released. |
