Overview
Due to my clients increasing ever business activity, we are looking for a talented Data Analyst with good database skills, to join our online team. Reporting to the eMarketing Manager, you will be working with existing data preparation systems, reporting systems and developing new systems to deal with ongoing requirements.
Although a high level of technical expertise is required, the successful applicant will also have a strong understanding of database principles and a keen interest in customer profiling and all aspects reporting.
Core Responsibilities
·eMail data preparation for daily email tests and rollouts
·Data Segmentation and Customer Profiling to maximise financial returns from email sends
·Dedupe, filter and append cold email data supplies from 3rd parties
·Develop, implement and maintain scheduled access tasks to meet online business requirements.
·Maintenance and enhancement of the existing online reporting systems
·Design and Implementation of new reports and/or systems as defined by the business requirements.
·Ensure that quality standards are maintained in respect of:
o commercial functionality
o Usability
·Co-ordinate within the department to ensure seamless integration of new reports/systems.
·Co-ordinate with the MIS department to ensure seamless integration between the reporting systems and back end databases.
·To record work on an ongoing basis and regularly update the eMarketing Manager on progress and outstanding work.
Key Skills
·Customer Profiling using behavioural data.
·Strong skills in the following areas :
o Access 2000, including VBA, Macro Automation, Forms, Report Designer, Query Design to an advanced level
o SQL
o Relational Databases
o Interpretation of Business/Departmental requirements
·Experience in the management and maintenance of corporate reporting systems
·Experience of working within a multi-user environment.
Desirable Skills
·Experience of RFM Analysis of Data
·Experience of other reporting systems e.g. Crystal Reports, Business Objects
